Counselling provides a confidential, safe and supportive environment in which you can talk through any issues you may be experiencing.
People access Therapy for all sorts of reasons. It can be they need to talk, to be heard and listened to, without any judgement, or for certain issues or difficulties they may be experiencing in their life, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-harm, family relationship problems, bereavement and loss, to name just a few.
Sometimes it can be to help clarify any thoughts and feelings you may have, to help you to feel in a more settled place.
Therapy sessions last for 50 minutes and usually take place once a week.
This depends entirely on yourself and the issues you bring to Counselling. Some people have a few sessions, others are more long term. I usually recommend a minimum of 6-8 sessions.
Choosing a Counsellor can seem like a daunting process. However I try to make it as comfortable for you as I can. I offer a free 10 minute telephone call if you would like to speak to me to ask any questions you may have, and from there we can mutually decide if I am the right Counsellor for you.
Sessions will take place in my Counselling room (including online Counselling) which is located just off the High Street in Lymington.
